Steph Del Rosso writes plays, fiction, and screenplays. She is a MacDowell fellow, an Affiliated Writer at the Playwrights' Center, a New Georges Affiliated Artist, and a winner of the Steinberg Playwright Award. Her plays have been produced or developed at Second Stage, The Public, The New Group, Mosaic Theater, Soho Rep, the cell, La Jolla Playhouse, JACK, Alliance Theater, Ojai Playwrights’ Conference, and Headlands Center for the Arts, among others. Her work has been published by Concord Theatricals, Dramatists Play Service, Story Magazine, the Mississippi Review (Fiction Prize Winner), and the New Ohio Review.
Steph received her MFA in Playwriting from UC-San Diego and has taught playwriting and creative writing for over a decade. She teaches at the Saint Ann’s School and is a PEN Prison and Justice Writing Program mentor. She lives in Brooklyn with her family.
